High On Style for Funky Fish Pop Up

Being a fashion blogger the term fashion interests me like
nothing else, especially events like exhibitions, fashion shows, pop-ups, store
launches and lot more. I always have my eye on interesting and exciting things
happening in the city. I was absolutely delighted when i came across a pop
up store called the FunkyFish started by two beautiful ladies Nikita
and Pavithra, both of them being fashion enthusiasts brought in the concept of
a pop up store in the city to bring in the latest trends and styles. They are one of the first pop up companies in Chennai. They plan on hosting 4
pop-ups every year with the idea of bringing in something different every season. For the same funky fish pop us is holding a pop up of
exclusive Indo-western and traditional wear clothing for the festive season at
the Art Houz, Chennai on October 9th-10th. The clothes
are sourced from designers around the country and would include current trends
of Capes, dhotis, dhoti sarees, crop tops, floral prints etc. There is
something about pop-up’s that I immensely enjoy. In addition to the Clothes
they would also be showcasing exclusive collection of jewellery and some
gorgeous home decors for you from the finest brands. I’m listing down few names
of the designers whose collection will be showcased for the same.
The aim of funky fish is to provide a good mix
of traditional and Indo-western clothes and accessories to the diwali shoppers.
Now these are two of my picks for diwali from their
collection. The first one is a dhoti saree, it has an embellished border at the
pallu which brings the whole look to the saree and it comes with black dhoti
pants. The second one is a dress with a one shoulder cape with
